The city of Alcorcón is a municipality of the Community of Madrid. Located southwest of the capital and in the center of the Iberian Peninsula. From its rapid growth in the middle of the XX-Century, the city keeps changing and growing but preserving its identity. Alcorcón has become a place to discover with its several parks, museums, and varied cultural offers.

Alcorcón has several cultural associations that promote the culture in the city. Visit art spaces such as Municipal Theater Buero Vallejo in Buero Vallejo Park and enjoy a year-round offer of plays, movies, and exhibitions. Visit the MAVA or Metropolitan Glass Art Museum and Centro de Creación de las Artes de la Ciudad de Alcorcón in Parque de Los Castillos, one of the most famous parks of the city, with several castles from the early XX-Century now used for arts and education.
